DRINK UP THY CIDER is Comedy Musical written by Bristolian Neil Maggs and adapted for the Stage by Comedian Andy Ford. It charts the story of a West Country icon, whose wit an charm entertained a whole generation of Country and City folk in the West of England and beyond: from the early days growing up in Nailsea North Somerset to his National and International success working alongside his Manager John Miles right up to and including his tragic demise on Sun 5th May 1974 in a road traffic accident.
The show champions his songwriting prowess and cheeky humour.... Full of happy songs to singalong to, it's a show unlike any other and guaranteed to make you smile. DRINK UP THY CIDER runs from Weds 25th to Sun 29th August at the Redgrave Theatre in Clifton, BRISTOL.
